What is AABEA:
American Association of Bangladeshi Engineers and
Architect (AABEA) is a non profit, non-political and non-religious
tax-exempt voluntary scientific and technical organization.
It is organized exclusively for educational, scientific and
charitable programs. AABEA was founded in 1984 and now has
chapters in nine different locations in the United States.
Vision:
To advance the community, the standing and the agenda of
American Bangladeshi Engineers, Architects & Computer
Professionals by carrying out initiatives that benefit us in
our North America and that also benefits our ancestral
Bangladesh.
Mission:
AABEA brings together and shares ideas, technology and
experiences between engineering, architecture and computer
science professionals of Bangladesh and North America.
Members professionals lives are enriched through activities
such as job search and career enhancement assistance,
educational seminars and recognition of achievements. AABEA
fosters initiatives where the members can provide expert
contribution in the areas of engineering, information
technology and architecture both in the North America and
Bangladesh.
Who should join:
Bangladeshi engineers, architects, computer professionals,
and professionals in technology sectors. Engineering and
Science students are also welcome.

(Intel Bangladesh Association), Bangladeshi Universities
(BUET, CUET, EWU and NSU) and Cadence

Completed JRCASE Project proposal 2004
v
Developed 16 VLSI course curriculums for JRCASE and sent for
approval to BUET, CUET, EWU and NSU. Cadence and Intel
Education endorsed courses.

Provided some Cadence tools to BUET and working on the final
deal to provide all other Cadence tools worth about US $5M
with a cost of US $6.5K/yr/university. Also working on
providing FPGA Design tools and establishing relationship
with Synplicity and Xilinx.2004-5.

Working on providing Cadence training on VLSI tools and
design methodology to JRCASE member institutions 2005.
v
Working on VLSI methodology and Tools training to local (US)
Engineers in collaboration with BIBC 2005.

Working on providing training on VLSI methodology and Tools
to University students in Bangladesh through AABEA expertise
2005.

Sponsored ICCIT 2003 Conference in Bangladesh and
participated in panel discussions.

Gave presentation to FOBANA 2004 Conference on AABEA
Projects.

Had meeting with BUET Faculties in Bangladesh in December
2003 and discussed on working together to develop VLSI lab.

Had meeting with AABEA Washington DC Chapter in July 2004.
Worked with Washington DC Chapter on opening new BIBC office
in Washington DC.
